The Enlightenment by Jed McKenna

You will never achieve spiritual enlightenment.
The you that you think of as you is not you.
The you that thinks of you as you is not you.
There is no you, so who wishes to become enlightened?

Who is not enlightened?
Who will become enlightened?
Who will be enlightened?

Enlightenment is your destiny — more certain than sunrise.
You cannot fail to achieve enlightenment.
Were you told otherwise? Irresistible forces compel you.
The universe insists. lt is not within your power to fail.

There is no path to enlightenment:
It lies in all directions at all times.
On the journey to enlightenment, you create and
destroy your own path with every step.

No one can follow another`s path.
No one can step off the path.
No one can lead another.
 No one can turn back.
 No one can stop.

Enlightenment is closer than your skin,
more immediate than your next breath,
and forever beyond your reach.

lt need not be sought because it cannot be found.
It cannot be found because it cannot be lost.
It cannot be lost because it is not other than that which seeks.
The paradox is that there is no paradox.
Is that not the damnedest thing? — Jed McKenna —

Galaxy - The Hubble Ultra Deep Field in 3D

These galaxies, while standing absolutely still, are racing from us, in some cases, faster than the speed of light. The spacetime between us and everything else grows larger by the minute, pushing the galaxies in this image to a distance of over 47 billion light years. Because of universal expansion, the farther something is away from us, the more it's light is shifted toward the red and the faster it appears to be moving.

Edwin Hubble himself discovered this by measuring the redshift of many galaxies. Redshift is a measure of the amount of shift in a galaxy's spectrum toward the red and measures not only speed, but distance as well.
Recently, hubble scientists put the icing on the cake. Using the measured redshifts of all the galaxies inside the image, they made a 3D model of the Ultra Deep Field. This is how it looks when we apply the distances of the galaxies in the most important image ever taken.

There are over 100 billion galaxies in the universe. Simply saying that number doesn't really mean much to us because it doesn't provide any context. Our brains have no way to accurately put that in any meaningful perspective. When we look at this image however, and think about the context of how it was made, and really understand what it means, we instantly gain the perspective and cannot help but be forever changed by it.

Spiritual Enlightenment - Jed McKenna

Jed McKenna believes it is possible to fly right through cosmic mystery and come out the other side and so its written in his book Spiritual Enlightenment

Here's the most directly I am able to say this: The one and only truth of a person lies like a black hole at their very core, and everything else, everything else, is just the rubbish and debris that covers the hole.
...All fear is ultimately fear of this inner black hole, and nothing on this side of the hole is true. The process of achieving enlightenment is about breaking through the blockage and stepping through the hole, and anything that's not about getting to and through the hole is just more rubbish and debris.

Well, this assumes that it is possible to step through ourselves, or everyday reality, and reach somewhere else.

Compassion - The Crown of the Soul

Compassion is the virtue of empathy for the suffering of others. It is regarded as a fundamental part of human love, and a cornerstone of greater social interconnection and humanism —foundational to the highest principles in philosophy, society, and personhood.

Compassion is often regarded as emotional in nature, and there is an aspect of compassion which regards a quantitative dimension, such that individual's compassion is often given a property of "depth," "vigour," or "passion." The etymology of "compassion" is Latin, meaning "co-suffering." More virtuous than simple empathy, compassion commonly gives rise to an active desire to alleviate another's suffering.

It is often, though not inevitably, the key component in what manifests in the social context as altruism. In ethical terms, the various expressions down the ages of the so-called Golden Rule embody by implication the principle of compassion: Do to others what you would have them do to you.

On the other hand in "Butterflies are free to fly" By Stephen Davis says It’s true compassion is the new spiritual buzzword, perhaps helped a lot by the Dalai Lama. Like “judgment,” compassion has been made to seem “right” and proper and a “good” thing to have. In fact, being compassionate has become the hallmark of enlightenment and the most important trait a “good” person must have, in the same way “judgment” has become a symbol of intelligence and reason. But let’s find out what compassion really means…. “Deep awareness of the suffering of another coupled with the wish to relieve it.”1 “Sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it.”2 It should be clear by those definitions that compassion belongs in the first half of the Human Game, inside the movie theater, and not in the second half.

Why? What’s “wrong” with compassion? Nothing is “wrong.” That would be a judgment. But compassion as it is defined (and practiced) automatically leads a Player to judge the experiences of someone else as “bad” or “wrong,” to think they have the power to change that person’s reality, and to entertain the wish to do so; and none of that is possible or appropriate in the second half of the Human Game. It also inevitably leads the Player who’s trying to be compassionate into frustration, sadness, and sometimes even despair; or, in other words, it leads further into limitation and restriction. Therefore, by its very nature, compassion is not part of infinite joy. It also doesn’t feel like joy; it actually feels “bad” to identify with someone else’s pain and suffering. In fact, we’re supposed to feel “bad” for someone else if we’re compassionate (“I feel bad for them”). The synonyms given in the dictionary for compassion are “pity” and “sympathy.” I doubt anyone would suggest “pity” and “sympathy” feel joyful.

I will leave you to decide what is the best for your soul.

Inner Engineering - What is it ?

What is Inner Engineering ? It is a method, a tool to engineer a deep and lasting personal transformation. It is a combination of methods and technologies gleaned from the ancient science of yoga. It is a comprehensive system addressing every aspect of human wellbeing – from body, mind and emotion to the fundamental life energy within us. The program includes engaging discourses exploring the nature of the mind and practical wisdom to manage life situations, along with guided meditations, group discussions, simple yoga postures, and a powerful and purifying energy technique designed to bring one’s entire system into alignment and harmony.

How does “Inner Engineering” work? The shortcoming of most solutions that are offered to problems we face within ourselves is that they are mainly aimed at changing the external situations. For instance, when we experience stress, by changing the outside situation,we can remedy the problem for a short time. But then the next problem comes and we experience stress again. By looking at the very fundamentals of life, the “Inner Engineering” program takes you on a step-by-step journey of self-discovery. It is based on the understanding that we experience life only within ourselves – that every thought, every emotion, be it joy or misery, is happening only within us. By developing this awareness, looking inward at the way we experience our lives, we can transform the very way we think, feel and live day to day. So if we are in a problematic situation, we don’t have to experience it as a stressful situation within ourselves.

Benefits of Inner Engineering ? Studies have been conducted to assess the impact of Isha Yoga practices on the various aspects of human system. Improved mental clarity, sleep quality, and increased energy levels Ability to handle stressful situations effortlessly Deepening of interpersonal relationships, thus cultivating a greater sense of connectivity at home, work and in the community Helps to purify the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, space) in the body leading to pleasantness in the body, mind and emotion Relief from chronic ailments Access to the intelligence and competence within, which is the very source of creation Greater peace and joy in everyday life.

Love is a free choice

Love is a choice, not a feeling or an emotion. It’s a decision you make every day of your life. The truth is about love you either made it happen or you allowed it to happen. Now, you're free because either way, the situation is in your control.

Contrary to popular opinion, love is not accidental, incidental, or happenstance. It isn't random, arbitrary, or evolutionary. It happens by the sheer force of two independent wills focused in the same direction. It happens because the two people involved wanted it to happen, and have usually expended considerable effort to make sure that it did happen. Love is not a hole in the sidewalk waiting for you to blindly fall into it. Love is the by product of mental and physical time and effort deliberately put forth to create and continue feelings of infatuation and romance.

We've all seen the situations where people have gotten involved in emotional and/or physical intimacies with someone they were "just friends" with.  The facts are that these relationships never just happen. They occur after days, weeks, and months of finding big and small ways to perpetuate the ectasy of illicit attraction.

That fact alone begs the question, is it really love you've created? You might think it is. Your partner may even agree. The truth is you've created a fantasy that can only survive in the bubble of the manipulated realities you've invented. That's why the magic dies under the stresses and strains of real life. No longer able to shield your "love" from the side effects and consequences of real life, you usually soon find that your "love" fades.

Butterflies are Free

Leonard Gershe based his play Butterflies are Free on a real-life blind attorney. The film version stars Edward Albert as Don Baker, a self-reliant, sightless young man who becomes the object of affection for kooky Jill (Goldie Hawn). Spending most of the film in nothing but her underwear, Jill makes love to Don, then tries to help him break free from the smothering influence of his mother, a children's-story writer (Eileen Heckart). The situation grows tense when Jill's boyfriend (Paul Michael Glaser) enters the scene. Eileen Heckart won an Academy Award for her performance.

The Emotional Freedom Technique

The Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, is the psychological acupressure technique I routinely use in my practice and most highly recommend to optimize your emotional health. Although it is still often overlooked, emotional health is absolutely essential to your physical health and healing - no matter how devoted you are to the proper diet and lifestyle, you will not achieve your body's ideal healing and preventative powers if emotional barriers stand in your way.

EFT is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over five thousand years, but without the invasiveness of needles. Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about your specific problem - whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. -- and voice positive affirmations.

EFT is very easy to learn, and will help you: Remove Negative Emotions; Reduce Food Cravings Reduce or Eliminate Pain ; Implement Positive Goals

The Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction simply says that you attract into your life whatever you think about. Your dominant thoughts will find a way to manifest. But the Law of Attraction gives rise to some tough questions that don’t seem to have good answers. I would say, however, that these problems aren’t caused by the Law of Attraction itself but rather by the Law of Attraction as applied to objective reality.

The Practices will change your life if you are selfish enough to want to be happy, no matter what. Most are fairly simple. But they may not be easy because conscious creation requires you to think differently than you have before, especially when you want to manifest something of great significance. In other words... TO GET WHAT YOU'VE NEVER HAD, YOU HAVE TO THINK WHAT YOU'VE NEVER THOUGHT. Regardless of how you feel now, or what you have or haven't done, you deserve to be happy and to have what you want. And if you are determined, consciously creating your future will bring far greater treasures for youself and the world than you can possibly imagine!

Your answers to the questions “Who am I?” and “Why am I here?” reveal your core beliefs and direct every thought you think and every action you take. So I recommend Remember Who You Are, Want to be Happy, and Be Gentle with Yourself as the Practices that move most people down the road the fastest. All of them will help you attract the loving relationships, financial prosperity, fulfilling work, physical wellbeing, and peace of mind you truly deserve.

Did you know heart-brain connection ?

The heart brain belongs to a higher, holistic intelligence. It has been proven that when people use it, a state of biological coherence is created in which everything harmonizes. In order to activate it, we need to cultivate positive thoughts and feelings and the qualities of the heart towards others: courage, patience, acceptance, non-judgment, etc... If we all manage to fully utilize the intelligence of the heart, human beings will change the course of history for humanity, bringing about a new, loving and peaceful civilization.

Many believe that conscious awareness originates in the brain alone. Recent scientific research suggests that consciousness actually emerges from the brain and body acting together. A growing body of evidence suggests that the heart plays a particularly significant role in this process.

Far more than a simple pump, as was once believed, the heart is now recognized by scientists as a highly complex system with its own functional “brain.” Research in the new discipline of neurocardiology shows that the heart is a sensory organ and a sophisticated center for receiving and processing information. The nervous system within the heart (or “heart brain”) enables it to learn, remember, and make functional decisions independent of the brain’s cerebral cortex.

Moreover, numerous experiments have demonstrated that the signals the heart continuously sends to the brain influence the function of higher brain centers involved in perception, cognition, and emotional processing.

In addition to the extensive neural communication network linking the heart with the brain and body, the heart also communicates information to the brain and throughout the body via electromagnetic field interactions. The heart generates the body’s most powerful and most extensive rhythmic electromagnetic field. Compared to the electromagnetic field produced by the brain, the electrical component of the heart’s field is about 60 times greater in amplitude, and permeates every cell in the body.

The magnetic component is approximately 5000 times stronger than the brain’s magnetic field and can be detected several feet away from the body with sensitive magnetometers. The heart generates a continuous series of electromagnetic pulses in which the time interval between each beat varies in a dynamic and complex manner. The heart’s ever-present rhythmic field has a powerful influence on processes throughout the body. We have demonstrated, for example, that brain rhythms naturally synchronize to the heart’s rhythmic activity, and also that during sustained feelings of love or appreciation, the blood pressure and respiratory rhythms, among other oscillatory systems, entrain to the heart’s rhythm.

The Divine Matrix

The Divine Matrix Are the miracles that we see in the quantum world actually showing us our greatest possibilities rather than our scientific limits? Could the spontaneous healing of disease, an instant connection with everyone and everything, and even time travel, be our true heritage in the universe? There is a place where all things begin, the place of pure energy that simply ''is.'' In this quantum incubator for reality, everything is possible.

In 1944, Max Planck, the father of quantum theory, shocked the world by saying that this ''matrix'' is where the birth of stars, the DNA of life, and everything between originates. Recent discoveries reveal dramatic evidence that Planck's matrix - The Divine Matrix - is real. It is this missing link in our understanding that provides the container for the universe, the bridge between our imagination and our reality, and the mirror in our world for what we create in our beliefs.

To unleash the power of this matrix in our lives, we must understand how it works and speak the language that it recognizes.

For more than 20 years, Gregg Braden, a former senior aerospace computer systems designer, has searched for the understanding to do just that. From the remote monasteries of Egypt, Peru, and Tibet to the forgotten texts that were edited by the early Christian church, the secret of the Divine Matrix was left in the coded language of our most cherished traditions. It is verified in today's science. In this paradigm-shattering book, Gregg shares what he's found. Through 20 keys of conscious creation, we're shown how to translate the miracles of our imagination into what is real in our lives. With easy-to-understand science and real-life stories, Gregg shows us that we're limited only by our beliefs, and what we once believed is about to change!

The YES man

Here’s the set-up…. Jim Carrey believes he has made a covenant to only say “Yes,” and if he breaks that covenant, something bad will happen to him. He did, in fact, break the covenant and is in the hospital with Terrence after a car accident. In The Yes Man, Jim Carrey realizes he would never have met the love of his life if he had not said “Yes,” even though it was under the false impression he had to because of some covenant.

Yes man watch Online

That’s the whole point: Why wouldn’t anyone want to say “Yes” to any experience their Infinite I creates for them? Why would anyone want anything else than the experience they are having right at the moment, knowing their Infinite I designed it especially for them, down to the smallest detail? Why would anyone resist anything in their hologram?

Saying “Yes” requires giving up that illusion of control, requires releasing the steering wheel, letting go of the tiller, going totally with the flow with no resistance. But at the same time, starting to say “Yes” and making a new habit out of it is the easiest and fastest way to gain trust in your Infinite I, once you see where it leads you. It may also be one of the most powerful and effective ways of transforming into a butterfly.

So give it a try for twenty-four hours and see for yourself….

With time, the Sudarshan Kriya became the core of the Art of Living courses.

 ART OF LIVING

Sri Sri founded The Art of Living as an international, non-profit, educational and humanitarian organization. Its educational and self-development programs offer powerful tools to eliminate stress and foster a sense of well-being. Appealing not only to a specific population, these practices have proven effective globally at all levels of society.

How to meditate

Meditation is the practice of  turning your attention to a single point of reference. It can involve focusing on the breath, on bodily sensations, or on a word known as a mantra. In other words, meditation means turning your attention away from distracting thoughts and focusing on the present moment. Meditating is deceptively simple.

Someone Saved My LIfe Tonight

Someone Saved My LIfe Tonight

When I think of those east end lights, muggy nights
The curtains drawn in the little room downstairs
Prima donna Lord you really should have been there
Sitting like a princess perched in her electric chair
And it's one more beer and I don't hear you anymore
We've all gone crazy lately
My friends out there rolling 'round the basement floor

And someone saved my life tonight sugar bear
You almost had your hooks in me didn't you dear
You nearly had me roped and tied
Altar-bound, hypnotized
Sweet freedom whispered in my ear

You're a butterfly
And butterflies are free to fly
Fly away, high away, bye bye

I never realized the passing hours of evening showers
A slip noose hanging in my darkest dreams
I'm strangled by your haunted social scene
Just a pawn out-played by a dominating queen
It's four o'clock in the morning
Dammit listen to me good
I'm sleeping with myself tonight
Saved in time, thank God my music's still alive

And I would have walked head on into the deep end of the river
Clinging to your stocks and bonds
Paying your h.p. demands forever

They're coming in the morning with a truck to take me home

Someone saved my life tonight, someone saved my life tonight
Someone saved my life tonight, someone saved my life tonight
Someone saved my life tonight
So save your strength and run the field you play alone

Someone Saved My Life Tonight" was also well-known among die-hard Elton John fans for its flip-side, "House of Cards," a track recorded along with the album's other songs, but left off the final edit of the album.
