The Hurt 

There is a yearning within us all, 

Yes,sometimes we stumble and yes,sometimes we fall, 

just dust yourself off and please stand tall, 

please remember, we're only human after all. 

 There's a yearning for things we long to hold, 

there's a yearning for things that can't be bought nor sold. 

 "Some things can only be loved from afar," I say, 

 I wish it were not so... but sometimes, it's the only way.
